Daniel O’Donnell is Britain and Ireland’s most popular easy listening entertainer and it’s not difficult to see why. He not only continues to entertain fans at sell-out shows, but re-writes UK chart history along the way.

Since the turn of the century he has had eight UK Top Ten albums, five UK No.1. DVD’s, created a completely new spectacular rock’n’roll show that toured the UK and Ireland, established himself as a major star in America, successfully toured Australia and New Zealand and been placed in the UK Top 50 artists of the decade in a national TV music documentary. Quite an impressive start to the new millennium.

Daniel’s shows are renowned for their sheer professionalism and entertainment value. Few artists, if any, give more to their fans in a live concert situation than Daniel O’Donnell.

His concert appearances are well documented and have taken him from London’s Royal Albert Hall and Dublin’s Point Theatre to New York’s Carnegie Hall and Sydney’s wonderful Opera House.

Daniel’s rise to fame is well documented by now. He signed his first recording contract in 1986 and since that time Daniel’s UK chart successes have included 26 albums, 19 singles, and 18 videos. Not bad for a boy with humble beginnings from the remote village of Kincasslagh, Co. Donegal.

The life and times of Daniel O’Donnell have been documented in two autobiographies, for several years he has hosted his own TV show in Ireland and a while ago received the famous “red book” as Michael Aspel made him the subject of This Is Your Life.

Despite all the success and accolades one thing is for sure though, Daniel O’Donnell MBE will continue to pursue new ambitions and treat his fans in the same quiet, unassuming manner that has always been his trademark.
